Update out of date GRT Horizon 1 EFIS

I purchased it from Steinair in 2006 or 007. and it might be called a HS or WS now. My single screen GPS GRT has not had any updates since mid 2013 when a piston failure on my H-4 Subaru put my RV-6A into an engine change to a Lycoming. My updat is 43 and now it is up to 46. GRT support folks are on vacation. Will the latest version do a mondo update for everything?

Usually they are all new complete software, not patches to the last version, so you should be okay just loading the newest version.

Are you talking about a NAV update or a system update? They have stopped issuing software updates for the HS WS boxes, I don't think there has been a new one in 2-3 years or more. But in either case the current one will be available on the website, and yes it will be complete you don't need to load older versions first.

WS/HS GRT update

WS/HS softwars are identical. Horizon/Sport is not.

Horizon WS/HS level is 35i

Sport WS/HS is 8i.
