The Mythical Instrument

I recently picked up a Narco ID-825 and the manual that goes with it. While reading through the manual I came across the ID-826 which is the same as the 825 but uses a resolver for the OBS instead of the Narco sine - cosine pot. I started looking around to see if I could find an 826 and all the deep searches I did returned nothing. So, was this an instrument that never came out when Narco went belly up or is it rarer than hens teeth?
