Kit Sequence - Finish Kit vs Quick Build Wings

I am working in my garage and am nearing completion of the Fuselage Kit (Emp complete also). I was prepared to order the quick build wings and person at Vans suggested ordering the Finish Kit at the same time because finishing the quick build wings would happen very "quickly." I began thinking that since I cannot connect the wings at home (and cannot afford both kits at the same time), maybe I should get the finish kit first, get the aircraft on its legs where it is easier to move, and then order the wing kit when I move to the hangar. Is that possible?

Can I delay the quick build wing kit order while I complete the finish kit at home? Or, are there finish kit sequence steps that require the wings attached? So basically, finish the fuselage as completely as possible then just "bolt the wings on" at a later date.

I see no problem with that plan.

Yep, solid plan. 95% of the finish kit does not require the wings to be attached or even present.
