5.5 States in a weekend......

State 1 - Minnesota

The key is to get an early start by buzzing the office!



Andi had hand surgery - she plays thru the pain - sleeps thru it too!



State 2 - Iowa

Iowa Pops 'merica concert on the Capitol grounds in Des Moines. Hung out with family and college friends.





State 2.5 Illinois(did not land in Illinois)

The Mighty Mississippi just north of the Quad Cities under an overcast....

State 3.5 Michigan
Lunch with Mom and Nephew Nick at the Niles airport, it was on the way to...



State 4.5 Indiana

A rescue mission! - Got the call and collaborated on a rescue with buddy Mike G who flew a little cutie from KY up to Starke County KOXI.



She was stand-offish at first, but I wooed her....

By the end of the trip we were buddies, and she is doing great with the foster family.



When we were in Iowa we got a call from daughter #1 who was visiting friends up in Green Bay - the family she was with had a nice boat, the wx was perfect, and they they insisted we come up for a tour of the Fox River and Green Bay. um, OK, sure!

State 5.5 - Wisconsin

Pete,
You inspire me to get out and fly someplace and do good for the world. It was a perfect weekend in the upper mid-west. I am sure we will pay for it this winter. Andi is a trooper.
