My buddy Darren Kerns from French Lick, IN came down this morning so we could finish up the last few things on his condition inspection. He’s got one of them pretty paint jobs :)

Good thing he got out when he did, it came a pretty good storm right after he left.

Wow

Simply two of the most beautiful airplanes that I’ve ever seen on here, somewhat over done for some viewers.

Regards,

I fall in that camp,,,,simply because I don't like the checkers. Otherwise I love both paint schemes.

I'm sorta curious as to how that paint job is holding up... mine was in the same shop, same time, completed just after Darren's. Mine was pretty much a cr@p job from the start and it hasn't aged well, which makes me not really care about it too much... I'm already thinking in another few years I'm looking at a strip and repaint. Boooo.

matter of taste... frankly I’d just call it overload flashy, but as we all know, beauty is in the eye of the beholder :)
