I own an RV8 with an AFS 2002 engine monitor system with a fluctuating oil pressure reading. My mechanic suggested that I replace the Oil PSI Sensor PN 41100 (SSI Technologies P51-100G-G-P0-4.5V) but I cannot find this Oil PSI Sensor any where for sale. Any ideas where I can find a replacement Oil PSI Sensor?
During my last flight, the oil pressure would drop to zero and then immediately go back up to ~65PSI. It did this several times so I immediately came back to the airport and landed. While in the pattern, this fluctuation did not repeat.
Has any one else had a similar experience?
