Default To paint or not

I have my baffles assembled and looking for options/opinions about wether to paint, powder coat or leave them naked. Thanks

it is mostly for looks, so you will be the decider on that. But if I were to do it, my primary objective would be to select a paint that would make it easier to clean the bugs. Power coat is probably the best option for that but it also probably cost the most.

I had some and liked it over bare metal.

Paint. I use the same type single stage PPG urethane paint that I use on the interior. Wears like iron.

In my opinion, bare aluminum looks horrible after a few years.

Is Alodine harmful to your health in that state. I know the liquid Alodine is very toxic but I don't know if it needs paint over it to cover up the toxicity?

I powder coated and am very pleased with the looks and durability. About $150 IIRC.
