Need help!
Which box, or boxes do I check on the application:
Experimental (yes)
Amateur Built (yes)
Exhibition (?)
Operating Kit Built Aircraft (?)

We will be flying soon.

In 8130-6 "certification requested":
Tick B - special airworthiness, 4 Experimental, 2 Amateur built and nothing else.

Make sure the aircraft description is the same as on your registration certificate where applicable.

Yr Mfg is the year of certification, not when you started the build!

If you are using a DAR, check with him/her. Many will send you an 8130-6 completed except for your signature.
I send a package including Program Letter, 8130-6, and 8130-12 ready for applicant's signature. Usually this avoids errors and re-dos.

Just like Mel, I do the final documents ready for signature in an attempt to avoid hassles for the client and the Feds.
