We were able to rescue Suri successfully last week. (Reference original thread: https://vansairforce.net/community/s...d.php?t=191317 )
The weather window wound up being tight, so we wound up doing all ourselves. Nearly 12 hours of flying in two days. One minor mechanical, two actual approaches, 2.5 hours of night. I'll write the trip up soon. (Update: It's here: https://vansairforce.net/community/s...62&postcount=1 For now, here are a couple of photos.

Arguing on the internet is like having a competition to see who can hit a brick wall the hardest. You may win, but you're still an idiot.

I'm not so sure about the pilot riding in the back seat though. It must not have been her leg.

My frequent copilot, Trina. She always takes off her ear-muffs as soon as I turn off the fasten seat belt light, but at least she's not smoking

Great pic Joe. We are so lucky we get to do this stuff. Beyond the wildest dreams of folks only a few hundred years ago.

Like that dog
My wife and I recently lost our Big Labrador. Wanting a new friend and considering options. What breed of dog is that? Seems totally happy and good size for RV-7
