Default Chicago Pneumatic CP-450 EA Compression Riveter

I know this is a long shot - but I'll try it here anyway.

I have just come into the possession of a Chicago Pneumatic CP-450 EA Compression Riveter, and am in need of an Operating Manual and/or Parts Manual.

Anybody out there know where I might go to look for such a thing.

For those of you not familiar with this "beast", here are the particulars:

Throat Depth: 36"

Throat Height: 8"

Maximum Axial Force: 24,000 lbs (not a typo!)

Weight: 3200 lbs (another - not a typo!)

Maximum Operating Temperature: 800*F (For hot dimpling)

I "rescued" it on its way to the salvage yard for the cost of $0.00.

Any help or direction is appreciated.

Almost forgot - It came out of Lockheed many moons ago.

What a beast! Although you may have overpaid! It's listed as a "hot dimpler", not a riveter. The "D" model is a riveter from what little I can find.

USATCO has a clone listed here as a "coin dimpler" (the "39-450EA-36 HOT") - https://www.usatco.com/documents/USA...20Dimplers.pdf

Default CP-450 EA

Hot dimpling is one of its options - for "brittle" materials like magnesium or even 7075 Al

Default CP-450 EA

It's hard to imagine, in this day and age, that anyone in corporate America would bother to search their archives for the info I requested.

But that is exactly what a lovely lady at the Chicago Pneumatic home office did - she sent me the entire operating and parts manual for this archaic riveting yoke.

Amazing!
