Jean New Year's Day Flyout 2015

Our 2015 New Year's Day flyout will be to Jean (0L7), just outside of Las Vegas.

MANY thanks to Jess Meyers for getting the landing fee waived for the day and to Katie Velvick for checking in with the buffet-restaurant at the Casino!!!!!

TAKE NOTE: Jean underlies the Las Vegas Class Bravo airspace (stay below 8K from the west/south/east), and it is also a skydiving airport so BE ALERT when you fly-in!!!

Please plan on arriving to Jean EARLY but no later than:
10:45am Arizona time
9:45am California/Nevada time

Give yourselves some time on the ramp to visit with friends then walk to the Casino on the hour!!!!

PLEASE CHIME IN IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND (AND IF YOU ARE BRINGING A GUEST) AS I NEED A HEADCOUT. No need to reply if you already replied via SoCAL and AZ RV lists.

Thanks for setting this up, Rosie! It was great meeting everyone, and a special thanks to Pete McCoy for offering up the right seat in his -9A for the trip from Chino. If you click on the photos, it'll take you to the Photobucket album with a few more images....Lake Arrowhead on the way back, Rim of the World High School with traffic gridlocked trying to get to the ski areas, etc.
