I have a older S200 GRT EFIS that has an internal GPS that occupies Serial 3. Can anyone tell me the proper settings for Serial 3 for this internal GPS? It has all the same choices as all the other Serial inputs and outputs, but clearly they dont apply.

GRT S200 Internal GPS

This is from the Sx 200 Installation Manual (page 22)

5-5: Internal GPS Settings
The internal GPS provides serial data at 9600 baud in the NMEA0183B format. The output from this GPS is wired to pin 32. It may be shared between all GRT EFIS display units as desired, as well as at least two other devices, such as an ELT, transponder, etc…. If these other devices impart too much load on the serial output, the signal level will be reduced. This could result in some, or potentially all, of the devices failing to receive data.

Well, curiouser and curiouser as Winnie the Pooh would say...GRT sheds light on the subject. The manual was updated but no mention that older S200 Sport units must be set to 4800, not 9600 as the newer firmware ones are. Once set to 4800 it works!
