Hanger Door Trouble

I have a new Schweiss door and can't seem to get it to go up or down without holding the button. The control box has up down and stop.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Many doors have safety interlocks that make you hold the button to make go down - mine does. I don't have to hold it to go up, though.

Don't know if some manufacturers provide for disabling the feature.

Call Schweiss, they are very helpful. Mine was the same way, they told what to change to make it one push to go up and sent me the programming manual. I could also change to one push to go down, but even with the optical safety it seems with such a heavy door it is a small price to pay to stand there and monitor the closing each time.
