Kids, Trash and RV's

I've recently received a bunch of parts for my RV8, leading to a rather large pile of trash in the shop. Tonight while working on the canopy my 5 year old son "discovered" the trash and taught me what you can really do with a few RV discards.

First comes the quest for the building materials.

With a bit of duct tape (quarter roll or so!) this pile quickly became a barn.

Naturally with further study, we discovered that we really were dealing with a secret hideout all along!

I might not have gotten a lot of airplane work done tonight but the "other" building projects sure were fun. :D

A bush cubby

When my quickbuild fuse wings and finish kit boxes arrived from overseas the kids wanted a cubby down in the bush which forms part of our little bit of heaven. Small tasmanian animals now enjoy it more than the kids because they've grown up. But they enjoyed it for quite a while.

Suggestion Man Cave Improvements

Got to be a little careful about how he furnishes the thing.

I already have to watch my toolbox like a hawk. :D

The whole deal is a **** sight better than video games. And hes the only kid in pre-school that can make flares and bend tubing. :)
