Antenna connector on radio tray

I have a Garmin stack with the 340 Audio Panel, 430 GPS/Comm, 300XL GPS/Comm. I have the trays for these instruments installed. I'm about to run the wires and connections for the antennas. The connectors to the antenna wires in the back of the radio trays are not screwed in tightly. They wiggle. I had the wiring loom and radio trays made by Pacific Coast Avionics. I'm not sure whether the connectors should be firm or loose. Can I/should I tighten these connectors or is there a reason they are left a bit loose?

Thanks for your thoughts.

These need to be loose to allow for slight misalignment in the tray/radio when the chassis is slid in. The BNC will engage the loosly installed coax connector.
