Aileron Belcrank now drilled for nutplate

Vans now supplies the aileron bell crank pre-drilled for a nut plate for the autopilot servo arm. What do you all think - use a nut plate here or the traditional nut? I use cotter pins and lock wire where I can in the control system.

Plate Nut...

It's been that way for the last 10 years -- give or take.

Put the nut plate in. It will be much easier to service down the road (one socket/wrench - one handed removal/installation.)
