I've wanted to catch a sunrise since I got the RV flying, until now clouds/visibility kept it from me. Head west young man!

My buddy's grin after the RV turned a 5 1/2 drive into 1.5. Not a pilot himself, but he did introduce me to a pilot buddy of his who got me started in flying. He did get me through Calculus in college though...

165+ TAS at 13.5 and less than 8 GPH 30-80* LOP, first time being this high and getting that speed with that fuel burn. Being able to crank down the RPM's with a constant speed would have its advantages...but a day long drive turned into a 2 hour flight with a 20 knt tailwind.

The usual burning fields on the way home, made it back in time for dinner with the family. This whole RV thing still has me smiling!
