Vinyl stick-on Stars & Bars

I am painting my RV-12 silver and would like to put on an Air Force "Stars & Bars" vinyl stick-on that is sold by Aircraft Spruce. I am scratching my head thinking what size I should order. I saw a picture of an RV-12 that was at Joe's Northern CA, RV-12 Get Together, that looked pretty good. From what I understand the plane belonged to a young gentleman named Stan from Lincoln, CA but Joe didn't know how to get in touch with him.

I am hoping Stan is reading this or anyone that can give me information as to which size will look best on a RV-12.

Also, Has anyone had any problems with the Vinyl stick-on covering the pop rivets and pealing up. Is Vinyl the way to go or should I forget it and try to find someone to paint it on?

I have vinyl stars and bars on my -7. Had them put on by a professional at CCB airport. I'll PM you my number. If you send me your email add, I'll send you some pics.
