RV-7
That is a really nice plane but an RV-7 worth a quarter million dollars?? Used to be a really nicely equipped RV-10 was $200-250K and now they’re pushing $350-400K with RV-14s popping up around $250K. These prices are great when you look at a comparable performance spam can but jeez- this is out of control $$$ for an experimental.
But in retrospect it makes all our RVs a lot more valuable I guess.

Agree that is a nice RV7. But I think mine beats it... and if he's getting anywhere near the asking price, I really need to increase the value I'm insuring for!

Agree. Anyone willing to pay that amount just has far too much money. Maybe there is a person who will. Like this plane, it's not a TWTT and in my estimation worth about 1/2 the asking price.

People can ask for whatever they want. Does not mean anyone will pay it. I guess the sellers are willing to see if someone will bite and in this weird world we live in today, it seems the odds are increasing that they will.
Unfortunately its hard to really understand where the true market range is for these creations since the true selling price is rarely made public.
