I am posting on behalf of my late husband who was working on building an RV10 when he passed away last year. He had completed the tail/empennage kit and the wing kit and was about halfway done with the fuselage kit when he passed away. The finishing kit is due to be delivered in November or December (they just changed the date from October). He had put deposits down on avionics and a Lycoming engine as well. You can see details of his build on his YouTube channel.
One of the neat parts about homebuilt airplanes is that a little bit of the builder lives on forever. When I open up my RV8 for maintenance or condition inspection I still find little handwritten notes in my Dad's handwriting. Makes me smile every time.
The partially built RV10 along with the tools and such has been sold. Thank you all who emailed and responded to this post. I appreciate the kind words and condolences.
