Default WTS: RV8 Tail / Wing Kit

Tail Kit - work 95% complete (fiberglass work is all that is remaining). In storage on custom built stands.
Includes original rudder bottom cap with tail light block out and optional rudder bottom cap without tail light block out (see Zip Tips. The Zip Tips include rear facing white static and strobes, making the rudder tail light redundant)
Includes installed optional electric trim motor.
Wing Kit - work ~40% complete.
Left wing:
Skeleton riveted to spar. Ribs have wire route pass thru pre-drilled per Vans' suggestion (see build instructions / builder log)
Skins 99% ready to be riveted to the skeleton. Cut-out made in skin to install Dynon pitot tube mast (included).
Garmin GAP-26 heated pitot tube included (It's compatible with the Dynon mast) - custom mounting bracket fabricated and riveted to rib for GAP-26 control box.
Leading edge completed, ready to be riveted to spar. Optional stall warning device installed, pre-wired.
Fuel tank 75% completed. Stored in fuel tank stand built per Vans specification (see build instructions)
Aileron partially riveted together.
Right wing - 99% untouched:
Ribs cleaned, straightened - wire route pass thru pre-drilled (same as left wing).
Priming scheme: Alumiprep (cleaning) / Alodine surface conversion on all skeletal aluminum parts; Zinc chromate spray on most internal skin to skeletal part contact areas.
Wingtips:
Vans wingtips omitted from kit in lieu of Aveo Engineering Zip Tip 3 wingtips (https://www.aveoengineering.com/ziptips-premiere/).
Custom wiring harness for both wingtips is completed. Custom test box built to ensure wingtip functionality included. Some parts from the test box are intended to be used in the airplane (for example, the switches, wire plugs, etc.)
