Trimming FLYLEDS boards, recommended tools/methods

What are good tools and methods for trimming the boards? Any recommended protection for the board while doing it?

I used a bandsaw to trim the corners of the board on my combo lights. I then used a belt sander to round off the edges.

Cut off disc in a dremel and smooth with a belt sander.

Make sure you actually need to trim though- I was able to retrofit 2 of the seven star lamps into existing duckworks mount/holes in my rv8 without trimming. Removing the attach screws on the duckworks mount and moving the mount back into the wing allowed me to get just the right angle so the lamp would fit through the existing hold in the leading edge
