W-730 Aileron Jig

Hey Everyone,
I'm getting ready to align my flaps on my RV-7 so I can get the flaps installed correclty. Can't seem to find my W-730 Aileron Alignment Jig. Hangarmate has two of them for his -9A. Is this jig universal among the different models, so I could use his on my 7? I ordered a few from Van's, but would like to get going now if possible.

Hi Sean, if the part number is the same then it should be OK. I'm building an RV-7A and posted the dimensions of the W-730 jig here:

Wing tip alignment

The other option is a jig using the alignment holes in the wing rib. I made one with the end matching the aileron. Then cut a block of 2x4 to match. Slip the block over the aileron and jig and it's locked in place. Got the tip here on VAF.
