Default Bushings and Washers

How in the world do you get the second washer or bushing on the rod end bearings in tight spaces? Hours wasted trying to get the flight controls in. Tried all kinds of things, but none are helping.

I've used scotchtape. You can sometimes use it on the washer while not covering up the hole. Leave enough so once the bolt is through you pull off the tape.

Special tools might work better, but I don't have those yet.

Default Cheap way!

I fold over a piece of blue painters tape on the end of a popsicle stick. Hold the washer between the layers of tape. I can make a few thousand of these for the price of the $41.50 tools. Any size works.

Oh - and super glue too, just be sure to clamp the washers so you have metal to metal in the joint.
