Default Why are certain plan sections marked Obsolete

I am finally going to tackle my canopy installation and looking to see if I still have the latest plans I checked my electronic USB Fob and found:

34_12(Obsolete).pdf

So my question is why is this section marked "Obsolete"?

My actual plans came with two new struts.

Jeff

The USB stick has folders with plans for both the legacy and IS versions of the airplane. Those in the legacy folder that have been superseded by the IS version are labeled as obsolete.

Dues paid November, 2023, with that little extra. I would probably be lost without this site.

This is what we’re talking about.

Now that you have access to the latest plans for free through the Van’s on-line store, it reduces the need for this, but it does put them all in one place for you. Of course, they will only be as current as they were when loaded on the thumb drive.
