Default Empennage kit received, ready to build, but oops!

Wow did not expect this. But all was taken care of by Van's as always. Some things just happen. Four skins for the empennage had to be replaced.

Crating update - April 24 to June 24- 2023
Received June 16th (damaged) but replaced
July 11th 2023
A&P, PPL

Dues paid November, 2023, with that little extra. I would probably be lost without this site.

Seriously, Van's is pretty good about shipping replacement pieces in a timely manner. Build around it in the meanwhile--if you can.

I finally received the replacement parts on July 11th but have been on the east coast and just got home this week. Trying to get things organized and should start build 1st week sept. Thanks

Yeah, but on the bright side I have a lot of practice pieces for dimpling and countersinking. Oh yeah almost forgot, lots of blue covering to practice removing LOL.

Exactly. Speed whistlers are a better idea than a baseball card clothes pinned to the cowling for the propeller to to make noise.
