F-878 Mid Cabin Brace Bolt...AN3 or AN4?

Hi!

I am at the stage to bolt the Mid Cabin Brace to the Center section. The pre drilled hole is clearly not size for an AN4 bolt, more like an undersize AN3 prepunch hole.

Before I go and drill the Mid Cabin Brace thru the spar, would like to check with other slow builders and see if they have the same issue. I can't find anything thru my current stage of build that require me to drill it to next size up to allow the AN4.

Spar Holes for Mid-Cabin Brace Attach

I have a -1 kit; the holes for the F-878-L/R bolts were pre-drilled for an AN4 bolt as shown on drawing 64 in the exploded view of the spar center section.

The AN4-12A bolt size shown in Detail A on drawing 67 worked fine for me.

I drilled mine to 4. Check the spar, you will find it is a 4.
