Nose gear fork

A Model Builders...
Did you apply anything to your nose gear fork? What? Primer, Alodine, Powder Coat, something else?
It's in a pretty harsh environment. I assume it's 6061 T6
I'm thinking P60G2, but I also have Kirker Enduro Primer (epoxy).

Please don't post snide remarks about the superiority of tailwheels.
 
Nope. Still raw after 14 years and a lot of hours in some pretty out of the way places. I also can't think of any reason NOT to do a nice (sealing) primer coating or something.

Thanks. That works. I may shoot some P60G2 next time I have parts to spray.
 
Larry,

I just modified my normal priming procedure which normally includes Alodining. I scuffed, cleaned and primed after masking the bushings. I used the powder coat matching rattle can paint after that. I'm not sure this last step was the best idea since it seems that paint is not that durable. But, at this point that is the way it is...
