Default Bottom fuselage/flap wear on RV-9

On the 9, the bottom fuselage skin has a little section of the skin that acts as a fairing that interfaces with the flap as it goes up and down. That section of skin is wearing on the inboard, bottom of my flap. This is shown in the attached picture. You can see where the paint has been rubbed off the flap.

What did you do to prevent this wear?
