Moderator or auto delete

I have noticed that this section tends to grow and shrink over time. Are old threads here auto deleted or is there a moderator that does deletes'? If its Moderator run can one please PM me about a similar issue?

Are you sure you'll looking at all threads and not just the threads from the last couple of weeks?

i.e. make sure to scroll down and select posts from the "Beginning" and then click show threads... as shown in the attached image...

Well That did it. Now it makes sense. LOL. I thought someone was systematically deleting threads in this section.
