This week we hung the engine on my RV 8 and more importantly, I got to meet my newborn grandson. He arrived this morning at 06:20. Looks like he could be a pilot to me. :D

Very nice Paul! Is he your first?

Of those two moments, for me, one is certainly a pretty good time off and the other I HOPE is a long time off. :)
 
Congrats! If he is a pilot, hopefully he's smart enough to get a better career and fly on the side :D
 
I've told both of my daughters (21 and 24) I very much look forward to being a grandfather, but I'm not in a hurry!

Congratulations Paul! Life is indeed good! Can't wait to see that Grandson grow up to be a pilot and that project to become an RV-8 - hopefully the -8 flys first ;)

Congrats on the grandson! Maybe in a few years you'll build another plane he can help you with? Think of how much fun that would be!
