OP38 Aileron trim wiring

OP38 is quite vague on how to route wiring for Molex connector. In fact, it kinda shows the pins going in to the front of the Molex connector. This is what I came up with to route wiring.

Also, if you are using the Van's wiring harness, you need to replace the two wires coming out of the Autopilot roll servo and running to the aileron trim motor with shielded wire per Garmin. The CAN bus wire will also need the shield ground to carry through the connector at the wing root.

Would you mind posting a link to Garmin where it shows that. Thanks

So you created a loop to go out and back it just to use a mounted molex? Perhaps this is one example of forcing things to work when using the Van’s wire harness.

A four #22 conductor shielded wire to both pitch and trim servos does everything you need. A connector external to the trim servo mount is simple and can be secured to your wire bundle.

As been posted in the past, do not use the Van’s (as supplied) wire harness for pitch trim. The plethora of unnecessary molex connectors that end in the fragile micro molex is just unnecessary pain that should be avoided.
