Tried out my new hot powder coat gun today on my pedals. Turned out great. I would even say it looks professionally done. And was very easy to use , that is a big plus with me . So if anyone is thinking of getting one check Eastwood. They mainly cater to car restorers , but they have alot of cool stuff.

Those do look nice!

I have the same powder-gun as you and I've done many motorcycle parts...no RV parts yet. What type of oven did you bake them in? So far I've only used an old toaster-oven as I'm heeding the warnings about not baking the powder in a to be used for food afterwards oven.

Toaster oven

I used a little toaster oven the same as you. Would be nice to have a larger oven for more parts , like the steps.

Harbor Freight Tools also has powder coating supplies. Not as much of a selection, but cheaper and work just as well. I have done lots of powder coating of RV and firearm parts.

Anyone tried one of the IR lights they sell to do larger parts? I'm kind of interested, but much of what I'd be interested in doing wouldn't fit in a regular oven.
