Repurposed seats

I am hoping to replace the seats in my -8 with new ones from Oregon Aero and was thinking that the old seats would work great in the hangar if I could build some kind of plywood stand for them. Has anyone else done this, and if so, could you share the results?

You could probably come up with a way to mount them to a creeper, so you are comfortable while you lay on your back cleaning the belly!

That is an interesting idea. I could mount both on creepers in case I find someone to help clean the belly!
