Oil pressure preference

Since day one, I’ve seen oil pressure of 65-72 or so psi at anything above 900 rpm warm on my engine. I got there with a new spring during overhaul and the same number of washers pre-OH. The spec for my engine is 60psi to 90 psi. I run 180F oil temp consistently when OAT’s are below 80F, and go up about one degree OT for each degree of OAT rise. Idle is rarely below 60psi. VDO sensor that was checked early in life against a mech gauge.

I’m going in to do an oil change, and I’m considering adding a washer to raise the bypass pressure, expecting that to bring the average running oil pressure up more to the middle of the spec. Is that a worthwhile activity, is there any benefit other than “optimized” in my head? Thanks.
