Garmin G3X Touch experimental - adding position marker on trim indicators

Hi There,

Installers manual for the G3X Touch Experimental (GDU460 in my case) describes the procedure for adding a position sensor indicator (such as used for trim or flap position sensors) and how to calibrate them using three points, both ends of travel and a neutral position for trim. Sensors are working well for flap position, aileron and elevator trim. Can add coloured shading and 0 degrees/35 degrees full deflection on the flap position.

Does anyone know how to add a marker for the neutral position on a trim position indicators, such as neutral for aileron and elevator?

Ben nice to be able to clear markers on the neutral position for elevator on take off!

Picture attached showing markers for flap positions but nothing bu actual position on trim position indicators:

Thanks in advance!

Ok, SO gauge markings in section 35.4.32.3 (Revision AN of G3X installers manual) seems to cover it.

For the record if you use a “line” or “colour tick mark” the position for the middle of the gauge is “0” and above in % is +10 for 10% past half way and -10 for 10% below half way. Took some fiddling to get the gauge to display correctly

Not a lot of help in the manual on how to configure these that I could find.
