Vans baffle kit was designed for Dynafocal mounts, according to old threads from years back here. I'm scratching my head a little at what has to be done, if anything, for conical mounts. Do the large holes in the aft plates have to be elongated or otherwise moved? Or I just need to twist a bit more and force the plates into fitting submission? I'm guessing the engine mount just pokes through that hole and sits on top of the 3 large washers on the engine side of the vibration mounts (e.g. I don't have to unscrew the top mount nuts to slip the baffle on, then retorque the nuts on)?
The left aft plate, I'm trying to decide whether I need to trim it to get around the plug on the engine (whatever it is?), in front of the oil filler.
