My sons and I took in the "Planes of Fame" airshow this Saturday, not only was a good time had but was able meet my friend (and Mod here) Craig Vincent.

I walking about the place (Note: Chino was where I learned to fly back in 197...cough cough from Ruth Johnson)...well walking about and seeing how the place has changed I came across this.....

Boeing P-26 Peashooter

Just curious, did they fly their Boeing P-26 Peashooter? Only one left flying, plus one recently built reproduction.

quite a place

Thanks. I got to Planes of Fame air museum in Chino about a year ago. Quite a place. For anyone that happens to be in the area (I was in Orange County, KSNA layover), it's well worth the trip, about 30 mins by car fm KSNA. Also have the DVD fm the 2006 POF air show, well worth it, and helps support this worthy cause. Their web site lists their inventory of some very rare and/or last flying aircraft, i.e. the P-26 Peashooter.
