Lining up the elevators

Seeing another poster today made me want to reach out for more opinions.

I’m about to drill the center bearing for the elevator horns and in instructions it calls out making sure you have 1/8 inch gap on the counterbalance of the elevators. On my left elevator I had to adjust the attach bearings (hym joint) Only maybe half or one turn. Now the right elevator I had to go **** near or at minimum thread on the inboard mount and in one or two turns on the outboard. Now I have 1/8 and I have proper degrees of travel on both elevators, but is this normal or will it cause any issues later on including how it flies? What could drive this on that right elevator?

I found that setting the rod ends very carefully using a cross bolt as measurement sight, the counterweight arms were spot on. I had very slight interference of the LP4 rivets on the mounts, so 1 full turn out across both elevators set everything perfectly.
