NACA ducts or other air inlets

Hey Guys,
Has anyone added naca ducts or any other type of air inlets to provide more air to the cockpit?
I was thinking of adding some kind of small scoop on the side fwd of the current vents that would send air to eyeball vents.

Wag Aero and Aircraft Spruce used to sell plexiglass vents that could be attached to the canopy. It obviously requires cutting about a 2” diameter hole in the canopy which can be a crapshoot as far as starting a crack. I got a crack in the canopy of my first homebuilt and was able to cut out the area and put a vent in. It worked great and I never told admirers that it was just a way to cover a mistake.
