PG 13-03 Wing plans

Aloha.

On the very outboard end of the wing spar just behind the landing light bay (Fig 2 pg 13-03) there are 4 K1000-3 Lock-nuts installed. However I can not find what is attached to these on any of the remaining plans. Are these used for anything?

Wing mistery nuts

Will look at my plans tomorrow at airport. Are there two k-1000 3 at each wing location? If memory serves me thosr those k-1000 3 are where your aero led light brackets may bolt into them.

Those are for landing light ballasts. You probably won?t use them. I learned that after installing the nutplates on one spar, and my OCD forced me to install them on the other spar. Wing

I lookedatmy plans and saw nothing. Ballasts seem logical. Strobe perhaps?

If you're following the plans without deviation and will be installing AeroLED landing/taxi lights, those nutplates go unused.
