An entire day of work for just drilling two holes????
Ah! but which holes?

So, after 6 years, I invited a bunch of family and friends to the hanger to help me with a BIG milestone. Wings On!!!

I would like to thank all the guys who came out for a big day. Some understood why it takes 6 hours to drill two holes (some friends who have done this before) and some who had no idea why it takes 6 hours to drill two holes.

But everyone was there and we successfully completed a BIG day. The wing sweep and incidence is set for N18TD.

It was a great day made even more so by just having family and friends there.

Thanx everyone! The wings are now back in the cradle and safely put away, and it is back to the electrical, panel and fuselage stuff.

But last week-end, for one brief moment, she looked like an airplane.

I like your "landing gear", David! :D

I remember that day, too. I don't have room in my shop for the wingspan, so we carried her out onto the driveway. All I can tell you is, assembling an airplane in your driveway in the middle of a residential neighborhood is a VERY interesting experience!

Two Holes

Dave
Yes, but those are two VERY important holes! Better get them right or the
bird is going to have a limp!
I spent at least that amount of time on mine, and on a friend's -7.

And yes, it is a milestone, because this is the rigging stage....
