Is that who does the remade panels for Van's and your picture is what you think the 12 panel color comes out to? Doesn't seem like with the 12iS they'd very much at all to silk screen.

This isn't silk screened. It's printed on Carbon Fiber Vinyl.
I wrote an article for Kitplanes.
It's actually a pretty cool process. The idea is to create the CAD layout first. The file is then turned into a SVG file and printed. First print is black line on white. Apply it. Cut right through it. Peel it off. Clean up. The final skin can be printed on whatever you want. Apply it. Since it's all based on CAD, changes are easy.
