Garmin G5 won't update

I'm trying to update to the latest software for my G5s. Got a new micro SD card, formatted it to Fat, 32kb. Downloaded software onto card using Garmin program. Powered up G5.
Install in G5 and....nothing. Doesn't detect the card.

Opened card on computer and noticed the update was in a folder. Tried removing it from folder. Still no joy.

Ostensibly this is a simple procedure. Am I missing something?
 
Is it already updated? If it's already running the software on the card, it won't "upgrade" to the same version.

Check if it's in G3X Standby mode too (it'll be expecting updates to be streamed over canbus if it is)

Hi Dennis,

Do you know what size microSD card you are using? It must be 32 GB or smaller for the G5 to be able to read the data on the card.
