I have an Advanced Flight Systems 5600 EFIS in my RV-9A. Recently activated my Advanced Flight Systems stand-alone AOA Pro unit. It comes on as soon as I flip the master switch, telling me how it passed it’s own set of tests. At the same time, my Dynon 25mhz radio goes silent. I can’t transmit or receive anything for up to five minutes. The power-on lights are still glowing on the radio and the AFS intercom. However, after that brief time, the radio magically starts working normally-transmitting and receiving. This was never an issue before I activated the AOA. Wondering if anyone has had a similar experience or has any suggestions to my problem?
