Additional Air Ventilation

I was wondering if anyone in the RV community had experimented with additional air vents for better circulation in these bubble canopies? I just flew in a friends Navion and he had a leading edge wing vent that pumped air into 2 floor vents. With these vents open the air circulation was great on a hot day.

The 'Ultimate Ventilator'

I have one for each seat (mounted in the fuselage) and they work great even with just prop wash. But I notice that it's only on the Aircraft Spruce EU site these days, and not in the US. Van's does sell a smaller version though, might give that a try.

The RV14 standard air vent is extremely effective. I live in Florida and at normal cruise, it needs to be turned down a bit.

I often use the “defrost/defog” fans (or panel cooling fans) to keep the bubble air circulated. It especially helps when the sun is strong and the vent air is cool.
