Nose gear rotation stops

I am building my 14A in a one car garage and I will be putting it on the landing gear in a few weeks. I will need to be able to do some tight maneuvering to get it out of the door once the motor is hung. There are two machine bolts that act as rotation stops on the NLG strut. Is there any issue with leaving them off until I make the move to the airport? Being able to turn the nose wheel 90 deg would be a big help. I don?t see an issue but want to confirm before I hang everything and then find out I am stuck.

Not a problem. Just don’t forget to install them before you do the first engine run.

You could also always place the nose gear on a small dolly.
