Aluminum windshield fairing?

Like most doing mass amounts of research preparing for the journey ahead and I ran across this mention but no images or actual cases on the -10. Is this an option for the 10?
Thanks

Glass technique

I just attended the Fiberglass for RVs EAA Sportair class. One of our projects was a small portion of a upper fuse to wind shield fairing. It was a sandwhich of a few layers of glass, structural epoxy and a Aeropoxy Light/micro mixture.

My main takeaway was - don't be scared of it. You can get a REALLY good looking result in something around 5 hours or so. The class certainly helped with that.

No classes like that near me, and I cant travel for something like that atm.

Fiberglass Fairing

Her is a few pictures hope it helps the windshield is held in with small clip at the bottom. The faring is attached with pull rivets to the fuselage and the same sealer that is used to attach the other windows in the airplane.
