Door switch for interior and door light circuit

What is everyone using for a door switch, either lever switch or magnetic or both on either the pins or the door itself. I’m trying to cobble together my interior lights and door lights using the popular timer circuit as others have done.
 
I used lever micro switch for the door pins. The magnetic reed switches drive the door annunciation lights on my setup.
 
I epoxied the magnets into the door latch pins (mine are SS) and use the magnetic sensors supplied with the kit. It works well but requires a bit of adjustment to get them right.

Having set up my door latch indicators with the relays in the kit, I just use the NC contacts on the relays to drive the interior lights when the door is open. I then have a dimmer switch on the panel in line between the relay and the lights to turn them on/off or dim them.
