Top wing skin where outboard skin overlaps inboard skin

I noticed where these skins overlap each other in the area aft of the rear spar could easily be modified to sit flush with each other against the gap seal. I haven’t seen mention of it in the instructions and I doubt it is a big deal but what do y’all think?

By the time you rivet the skin to the gap seal they are flush at the skin trailing edge. Even just clecoed they should be pretty close
